Book Marketing In Social Networks, Right!
How A Free eBook Can Be Your Viral Book Marketing Salesman

E-books are the future and the future is now. The printed word on paper and bound into books used to be the only way information was given and received. They were great, you could take them with you and put them on shelves and they do still exist and will continue to for the foreseeable future but the time of the E-book has arrived.
The marketing E-book is a slightly different animal from just an E-book. Marketing E-books contain text, images, links to web pages and navigation controls. The marketing E-book has become a very important part of marketing on the Internet.
With a marketing E-book you can present your story in an effective way and include links to your web sales pages. Your E-book can become your best salesman.
Have you been wondering how to write an ebook or how to make an ebook?
First, your E-book needs to be interesting and informative. It always has links back to your web site and to your sales page.
Next, be sure that you have a prominent section telling readers that they are free to give your E-book away. Let them know that they can post it on their site as a free download, that they can use it as a bonus, and that they can bundle it with other products. This is the way to create viral book marketing for your products or services. Remember those links back to your site contained in the E-book?
Last but certainly not least before you send your E-book out to the world, double check spelling and grammar and be sure that you have tested every link to verify that it goes where it is supposed to go. Obvious errors will reflect badly on you and will not be of much value to you, it could even by damaging.
Post your E-book to some of the E-book directories. Many let you post it for free, or will let you post a link on their site to your E-book.
And to help you learn more about how to write an ebook, I’m inviting you to check out Break The Code: Write Your Own eBook In 5 Days ebook today and receive 50% off with Coupon Code: ebook [For A Limited Time]

Is Your Website Customer Friendly?
8 Free Book Marketing Website Promotion Techniques…Why Not?
March 25, 2009 by C.F. Jackson
Can you use free book marketing website promotion? Is that even feasible?

Of course yes! Nowadays, your website can amass increased website traffic in
no time thanks to free website promotion.
How does this free book marketing website promotion go anyway? What are things
to be done?
1. Enlist your website.
Look for the hottest Internet directories and enlist your site there. This is the easiest
and most effective free website promotion tactic. Start with this step and the rest of
the good things will follow.
Just don’t forget to evaluate your website and make it ready for a higher chance to get
accepted in your directory of choice.
2. Know your forums.
One reason why forums are created is for free website promotion for everyone. Log in,
post actively, let them know about your site in every post and you attract instant visitors
right there.
This doesn’t mean to straight in and start marketing your books or service. Join the community
and add value to the already created forum.
Be sure to use your signature area to point people back to your website. The more valuable
posts you make, the more times your signature will be read.
3. Write a press release.
Release your writing skills again and start up a press release that advertises your site! This
is a free website promotion tactic that you can do anytime. Type a brief paragraph or two and
email it to your friends, colleagues, internet e-zines, newspapers and other media and it will
generate traffic for you.
Free website promotion means you need to be friendly to other webmasters. Why, you ask? So they can link you immediately! Establish contacts and never tire of requesting to have your site linked from others.
5. Write an article.
Say, your book is about a travel agency. Write an article about the perks of traveling or the hottest
travel spots in the world. On the concluding paragraph, mention your website in passing. This
article works as an advertorial and doubles as a free website promotion approach.
6. Just let the whole world know about your site.
What is free website promotion without the word of mouth? Insert your website, its URL and features
in daily conversations and let the good news spread from one mouth to another!
7. Make a banner ad.
Make a banner ad for your site and ask another webmaster to do the same for his site. Then swap!
Be sure that ads complement your site. I’d suggest to keep this exchange to a minimum to avoid distraction from your website.
8. Take up a free website promotion course online.
Yes, there are free website promotion tutorials. But don’t you know that you can actually take a free
website promotion course that can help you out further? Part of the free website promotion program
is signing up for newsletters.

What Works & What Doesn’t In Viral Book Marketing Online
February 18, 2009 by C.F. Jackson
Stop with the enforced e-mail forwards already! Trying to
force or bribe people to forward your info to friends or
family in order to be rewarded or win in today’s ultra-
permission-based world. Especially, when you tell visitors
nothing about their friend’s or family’s privacy in the space
directly next to the e-mail form.
A true viral book marketing campaign gets forwarded
because consumers are compelled to do so by the glory
of the content, not because you bribed them with a free
gift or something else.
What absolutely will not work:
Suggesting that e-mail recipients forward your message
to their friends and family will not work. Adding a line at
the bottom of your e-mail that reads “Please feel free to
forward this message to a friend” is more likely to get it
deleted than forwarded.
What absolutely will work:
Offering something worthy of sharing like a valuable discount,
vital information or offering an incentive for sharing like
additional entries into a sweepstakes or an added discount
or premium service will work.
Relevant or timely information, research, or studies that are
included in your e-mail might encourage the recipients to share
with their family and friends. Interactive content like a quiz or
test, especially if it’s fun, will inspire forwarding.
Jokes and cartoons are almost always
forwarded to everybody the recipient
knows. Why? Because they are entertaining
and entertainment is meant to be shared.
A really cool multimedia experience is
always going to achieve a lot of pass-along.
Rich media is new and the novelty and tech factors alone are
often enough to make the e-mail recipient eager to share it.
Oops! Almost forgot one really important thing….You can craft a
brilliant e-mail following all the rules, but if a consumer visits your
site and has an experience less that what was promised, you are
going to achieve viral book marketing, alright…the bad kind. So
be certain that your book, product or service is ready and is as
advertised.

Top Ten Getting Started Tips to Market Your Book and Business
January 28, 2009 by C.F. Jackson
I came across this article that was written back in 2005 and the content of it has not changed as to what must and can be done to market a book online.
Take a moment read the article, then share your thoughts and feedback so we can talk about it.
Hope you enjoy!
Have an awesome day,

Top Ten Getting Started Tips to Market Your Book and Business
Want to sell a lot more books? Want clients calling every day to find out more about your service? Most emerging businesses forget the #1 way to promote anything–the Internet. Specifically, writing and submitting articles.
These ten Tips will help you write a winning article that top ezines and Web sites will want to publish.
1. Include your non-fiction book’s chapter how to’s or your fiction’s juicy chapter excerpts in your articles. Your book coach encourages novelists as well as self-help authors.
2. Keep your articles around 200-800 words each. Remember today’s audience likes short copy. They want it one, two, three.Online writing is so different from what print magazines want.
3. Keep your article focused on just one thesis or point. That means mindmap your article or make a linear outline what points to keep before your write it. A plan helps.
4. Create a hook for your two or three-sentence introduction. Notice this one asked you a few questions to engage you.
5. Forget the old school of writing for print magazines and getting paid. Follow the Internet way– give your article away like Mrs. Field cookie samples, so people who read them and notice your signature file will want to visit the site where you sell your book.
6. Keep yourself out of it. Your audience wants to know what you can do for them. Replace those “I” constructions with “you.” “If you are like me….”
7. Number the main points for clarity. People love easy to read tips. Remember tips have a format that pros know. Start with a command, follow it with a benefit for doing it, and follow that with examples of how.
8. Collect ten well-edited articles before you blast off. Online readers will look at you more seriously when they see you offer more than one quick thing. They will see you as the savvy expert and click to where you sell your book.
9. Leverage one article into five. Change your audience. Change your number of how to’s. Three Tips to… or Five Tips… or The Two Best Ways to….
10. Remember free information is the reason people go to Web sites, so put your articles there as well as in a blog.
Once you get dozens of short articles or fiction excerpts out to no spam ezines or top web sites in your field, you will notice the search engines optimizing your site because they see your important key words that link you, your book, or your service together. Your submitted articles lead to the magic of “viral marketing.” The thing is that this is attraction, natural marketing at its best. Your coach’s URL and signature file is now on over 33,000 Web sites.
